Bulgaria's coastal town of Kavarna with An European Diploma

Bulgaria’s coastal town of Kavarna was awarded with a distinction by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE). Kavarna is the only Bulgarian municipality honored with such recognition. Kavarna’s mayor Tsonko Tsonev declared that the diploma meant that the town’s efforts received positive evaluation from the  EU. „This award will stimulate us to work harder and faster for the country's integration in EU”, added Tsonev.A number of 24 municipalities in France, Germany, Lithuania, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland and others are honored with such diplomas.
