The Bulgarian property sector has received 310 million euro of external sources investment in the first three months of 2007. The data was published by the Bulgarian National Bank. The investment figure represents an increase of 63% on the Q1 of 2006. The UK citizens are again the most interested parties, but Russians and Scandinavians invest a lot in Bulgarian properties as well.The foreign investments in the real estate sector in Bulgaria are about 40 % of the total invested finances in our country. The Association of International Property Professionals has recently declared that Bulgaria is on the third place of most popular foreign property markets in the world, after Spain and France.At the same time the Bulgarian capital city of Sofia is now the third fastest growing city in the world in terms of office rates, which grew at 61.3 % over the past year. |
