The construction of the Super Perelik Tourist Centre to begin this Autumn

About 300 million euro will be invested in the new development, situated in Rhodope Mountains. The first stage of the Perelik Project is scheduled to begin this Autumn, announced representatives of the investor’s Sports and Tourism Centre Perelik company. Super Perelik Project plans to connect the Perelik peak in Pamporovo with the Mechi Chal peak near Chepelare. This will change the Rhodope Mountains currant face and will turn it into a grand tourist and sport centre with three main spots - Mechi Chal, Pamporovo and Perelik. Perelik Project’s main aim is to extend the total ski runs’ length of the resort and to develop additional modern facilities not only for winter, but for a summer use as well. About 55 million euro will be invested only in new ski facilities. There are plans for the constructions of ski runs with a total length of 200 km and 100 km of ski lifts. Super Perelik Project will be developed in several stages and all the building projects are considered according to the results of the Eco- monitoring. |
