Danish Consulate is now open in Varna

The Bulgarian Black Sea coast is one of the new holiday destinations, which have become very popular among the Danish tourists. In 2006 about 85000 Danish tourists visited Bulgaria and most of them have spent their holidays on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast.     The increased number of Danish tourists, who visit Bulgaria, is followed by the need of consular assistance in connection with lost passports, hospitalizations, etc. Therefore the Denmark's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has decided to open an Honorary Consulate in Varna. The establishment of consulates in the new and growing tourist areas is recommended by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in its Globalization Report from 2006.
