Varna and Novosibirsk sign an Alliance Partnership Agreement

Novosibirsk, the largest city in Siberia and the administrative center of Siberian Federal District and the Bulgarian maritime capital Varna will sign an Alliance Partnership Agreement. The idea, confided to the Bulgarian Consul in Novosibirsk, Plamen Stoyanov, will be accomplished during the visit of a Siberian delegation in Varna, which according to the Mayors of the two cities Kiril Yordanov and Vladimir Gorodetsky, will be held between the 13th and the 16th of August.Yordanov and Gorodetsky are persuaded there is a significant potential for the development of a mutually advantageous cooperation and partnership. The Siberian tourist flow over Bulgaria is constantly increasing, as the locals seem to have a crush on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast, because of the smooth climate, the absence of extreme temperature changes, as well as for the renewed and modern resort base. The rehabilitation and Spa tourism are also of great interest to the Siberian tourists. The number of Bulgarian tourist visas issued in Novosibirsk is also constantly growing.The Consulate General of Republic Bulgaria in Novosibirsk issued until yesterday, 4500 visas, the amount issued for the entire 2006, Bulgarian Consul in Novosibirsk, Plamen Stoyanov, reported. The region is not concerned by the new tourism legislation in Russia, requiring a certain financial guarantee for inscribing the tour operators in the country’s register. Anelia Krushkova, Head of the Bulgarian State Tourism Agency, is expected to arrive in Novosibirsk this Sunday. Krushkova’s program, elaborated by the Consulate General, includes a meeting on a boat on the Ob river, where she will be discussing several touristic projects with local tourism administrations, experts and partners.Krushkova is on a two-week regional tour in the Russian Federation. In Saha /Yakutia/, she met local Minister of tourism and enterprises, Julia Peskova, and the two agreed on signing a Partnership Agreement in Sofia in September. The agreement will include an advertising campaign in local media, which will promote Bulgaria as a travel destination. Local journalists were quite interested in the presentation, delivered by the Bulgarian delegation. |
