The international organization, which members execute 94% of the planned international world traffic, will exclude all air companies, which have not covered the safety criteria and have not passed through a special revision for safe exploitation (IOSA) until the end of 2007. 400 more companies should be inspected and one of them is the Bulgarian carrier “Hemus Air”, which had sent in a petition for a special revision. The safety head of the IATA explained that in July, 2007 the temporary decision for access to passengers’ data, flying between EU and USA will expire. This decision was made 6 weeks after the frustrated conspire in Great Britain last summer. By the end of the current year (2007) the electronic tickets (E Tickets) should be introduced by all air companies, members of IATA. In Europe the electronic tickets are more than 80% of all used tickets. By the end of 2007 “Bulgaria Air” is expected to be processing 76% of its tickets electronically. |
