A record number of tourists in the municipality of Tsarevo

A record number of tourists and an extremely high interest to the region reported the municipality of Tsarevo. According to the tourism experts, in the most south municipality at the Black Sea Coast, 80% of the family hotels and all the complexes, working with organized tourists are booked at the moment. The Municipality of Tsarevo is the one where the summer season starts the last, comparing to the other Bulgarian Black Sea resorts. 100% of the hotels working with tourists of TUI are booked since the 1st of July. The rush season will continue by the end of August, the tour operator announced. There are still vacant places in the private houses, offering guest rooms, but that will probably change after a week. All tourist places, which offer tourist services and which suit all the requirements for dealing with tourist activity will be 100% booked after 16th of July, the tour operators explained. According to the record of the municipality there is a great number of foreign tourists and less Bulgarians, who traditionally spend their holidays in the resort between the 16th of July and 20th of August. The extremely high interest to the municipality of Tsarevo this summer is a result of the investment and infrastructural projects made at the territory of the municipality – some of the water-supply systems are being changed, new sewerage sections in Lozenets and Tsarevo are being constructed, new pavements and asphalt covering in Lozenets, Tsarevo, Varvara, Ahtopol and Sinemorets are being also placed. According to a record of the International Burgas Airport a big part of the arriving tourists are going to the destinations south of Burgas. This is due to the fact that some of the tourists rest in their own villas and apartments in the resorts of Lozenets, Tsarevo and Sinemorets. The number of the registered tourists this year has been generally increased with 9 779 people comparing to the last year. |
