Bulgarian Days dedicated to the coastal town of Nessebar in San Marino

The Bulgarian coastal town of Nessebar and its unique traditions are the official participators in the ‘Bulgarian Days’ evеnt, which is taking place in the Republic of San Marino from 12 – 14 July. Representatives of the municipality of Nessebar have already arrived in one of the world’s smallest countries, located near the seaside resort of Rimini on the Adriatic Sea. The visit is part of the initiative, proceeded from the Report for co-operation between San Marino and the town of Nessebar, which was signed in December, 2006 by the Bulgarian municipality and the Tourism Agency of the small republic. The main purpose of the statement is to improve the tourist interchange between both towns. On the 14th of July the streets of San Marino will be sounded by the performance of the Bulgarian Folklore group “Sunny Beach” which consists of 22 musicians, dancers and singers. They will represent traditional for the region of Nessebar dances, songs and theater. The first concert of the group will start at 14.30. Another show will be presented at “Cava del Balestieri” in the evening. During the Bulgarian Days, the famous “Terrazza del Titano” restaurant will be presenting traditional Bulgarian cuisines. A photographic exhibition showing “Nessebar the pearl of Orthodoxy” and “The Treasures of Nessebar” themes will be placed in the Palace of Tourism in the hosted town. |
