Cheaper Flights from and to Bulgaria Due To Competition between Air Companies

Air companies flying to Bulgaria have decreased the prices of tickets due to summer schedule which takes effect from this Monday.Germanwings starts to fly from Sofia to Köln at the price of 19 euros, taxes included. Two-way tickets are between 19 and 97 euros, taxes included. From the beginning of May the company will fly from Berlin to Varna and Burgas. British air carrier British Airways will launch a new morning flight between Sofia and the UK Heathrow Airport in London starting April 1. The flight is scheduled for Sunday and will be departing at 6:45am, British Airways said. Passengers will be able to make connections to all destinations of the company from Heathrow, British Airways commercial manager for Bulgaria Emil Delibashev said. The company now offers connections from Heathrow to over 180 destinations worldwide.British Airways' daily flights from Sofia to Heathrow will depart from the new Sofia Airport terminal. The one-way ticket to London costs 80 euro, airport tax not included. The airport tax in one direction costs 28 euro.The Austria Air companies have said that they will fly to Burgas and Varna and they will sell their tickets cheaper if bought 21 days in advance.
