The Bulgarian villages to receive EUR 508 million from EU

The dirt roads in the Bulgarian villages soon will disappear. EU will provide about EUR 508 million for repairing and construction of new roads in the villages across Bulgaria. The institution which will distribute the EU structural funds is the Bulgarian Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. Over 508 million euros will be allotted to the firms, which apply to improve the infrastructure in the Bulgarian villages by 2013.Not only the building of new roads, but the construction of bicycle lanes and sewerage systems in the villages will be financed.
