The region of Burgas is a leader of realized accommodations for the period January – September 2006

According to National Statistics Institute’s report, the region of Burgas has received the most significant incomes by realized accommodations for the period January – September 2006. The number of the accommodations in the region amounts to 5 917 736. Burgas is followed by the other Bulgarian top Black Sea destination – the region of Varna, where are reported 4 741 929 accommodations. The capital of Bulgaria, Sofia, take the third place with 931 627 accommodations. The accommodations on the Black Sea coast are mostly for foreigners – 82% for the region of Burgas and 84% for the region of Varna, while in the capital they are 62%. Source: insurance.bg |
