3000 lifeguards to work at the Bulgarian Black Sea coast during summer season 2007

More than 3000 lifeguards will work for the tourists’ security at the Bulgarian coastal resorts this summer season. About 12000 lifeguards went under instruction in 2006. Only a quarter from them are approved and certified for supervising the swimming areas. 300 lifeguards will work at the seaside beaches and the rest will be guarding at the swimming pools in the resorts. All the water basins which are not under lifeguard protection will be banned for swimming. |
