The cruise ship ‘Rotterdam’ drops anchor in Varna port one day before St. George's DayThe sailing palace ‘Rotterdam’ cruise ship, carrying 2000 millionaires will berth at the Bulgaria's largest Black Sea Varna port. The luxurious ship will drop anchor in Bulgaria on the 5th of May, Saturday. The passengers on board will be millionaires from USA, India, Australia, Japan, Hong-Hong and Western Europe. The ship has 9 decks and some of the amenities which provides are cinema hall, casinos, swimming pool and virtual library. The interior of the VIP deck where the wealthiest passengers stay is made of teak and marble with spacious apartments and bathrooms, equipped with golden plated bath accessories. Marble ornaments, exotic plants, famous artists’ paintings, muted music and thick carpets are part of the decoration on each of the floors and the foyer. A trip inside Rotterdam takes hours. The smaller cruise ship ‘Prinsendam’, which is Rotterdam's 'cousin' has a similar luxurious environment. Prinsendam cruise ship will also drop two times anchor in Bulgaria this summer and the liner's first visit will be on May 9.The total number of the liners which will berth at Varna’s port this summer is expected to be 24, the director of the harbour station Valentin Kitanov said. The sailing palaces’ season has started with the liner ‘Astoria’ which came last week from Odessa with 350 passengers. The one- week cruise costs between 1000 and 10000 euro. |
