Bulgarian Government will list the exact definitions for hotel rates

The Bulgarian Government is preparing changes in the law, concerning the hotel rating and specification. The main difference will be that only hotels rated with four and five stars would be allowed to offer SPA, Wellness and Business packages. The changes are expected to develop the specialized tourism packages through setting certain requirements for each type of hotel and the offered conditions. The Cabinet already has listed all different hotel categorizations with their personal definitions: business, spa, residence, club and balneology. The business hotel for example should offer conditions for work meetings, conferences, congresses, presentations, seminars and cocktails.The other hotel specification - SPA hotels should offer various water and cosmetics procedures, relaxation methods, different sports activities. These specialized hotel facilities should provide high qualifies staff.The hotels which provide SPA and wellness procedures will be qualified as wellness hotels. Another hotel class will be the residential one. These hotels will be qualified according to the five-star rating and the non-traditional interior will be typical for that class. The well- known abroad club hotels will become more popular in Bulgaria too. These developments will provide large accommodation area and great variety of amusements and tourism activities.
