Rising of building permits taxes has been canceled

Sofia City Court canceled the judgment of Sofia Council for rising of taxes for building permits. The tax that contractors should pay is still 0.70 levs per square meter. In December the municipal councilors decided to put up 20 times the taxes for this kind of service. In this way the average price for building permit issuing became 8 – 14 levs per square meter depending on the location of the project. The appeals brought to court were from non-government organizations. The Sofia City Court considered that new taxes are injuring the investors’ interests. The matter is expected to be definitely settled by the Supreme Administrative Court.Source: citybuild.bg |
