The summer tourist season was officially opened in Bansko. Part of the event was the municipality’s presentation of the main projects for developing the region’s tourism the whole year round. The tourist agencies offer 1-week packages for holiday in Bansko during this summer season. The offers include visiting interesting places and old settlements as Ognyanovo, Kovachevica, Melnik, the Rila Monastery, and eco and mountain tourism. The summer tourist season’s opening in Bansko coincided with the traditional folklore festival “Between Three Mountains”.
